PASAHERO partylist nagpaalala sa patuloy na pagsunod sa health protocols sa PUVs, terminals
Kinakailangan na mas maging maingat at patuloy na istriktong sumunod sa minimum health protocols sa pagsakay sa mga pampublikong-sasakyan.
Ito ang bilin ng PASAHERO Partylist matapos magdesisyon ang gobyerno na taasan ang limitasyon sa bilang ng mga pasahero sa mga public utility vehicles (PUVs).
Unang inanunsiyo ng Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) na maari nang magsakay ng hanggang 70 porsiyento ng kapasidad ang PUVs, kasama na ang bus at jeep, na bumibiyahe sa Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna at Cavite simula ngayon araw.
Ayon kay lawyer Homer Alinsug, tagapagsalita ng PASAHERO, malaking tulong hindi lamang sa mga operators at drivers ang desisyon ng gobyerno kundi maging sa mga mananakay.
“This government directive will effectively address the lack of available transportation for the riding public, but we should never let our guard down because coronavirus is still around,” pagpupunto ni Alinsug.
Suhestiyon lang ni Alinsug, kinakailangan ang regular disinfection ng PUV’s gayundin sa mga terminals, bukod sa pagsunod sa minimum health and safety protocols.
“Cleanliness of facilities is a must at all times and disinfectants and sanitizers must always be available for the passengers’ free use,” sabi pa ng tagapagsalita ng PASAHERO o Passengers and Riders Organization Inc., na kumakatawan sa mga Filipinong mananakay.
