Dumalo si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa 38th and 39th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits.

Dahil sa pandemya sa COVID-19, virtual lamang ang naging pagdalo ni Pangulong Duterte.

Nabatid na ang Brunie Darussalam ang host ng ASEAN Summits ngayong taon.

Ginaganap ang annueal meetings ng mga lider ng ASEAn States mula October 26 hanggang 28.
