Inagurasyon ng Sariaya Bypass Road sa Quezon Province, pinangunahan ni Pangulong Duterte
Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang inauguration ceremony ng Sariaya Bypass Road sa Lucena City, Quezon Huwebes ng hapon, October 21, 2021.
Isa ang Sariaya Bypass Road sa flagship projects ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) sa ilalim ng ‘Build, Build, Build’ Program ng administrasyong Duterte.
May haba ang kalsada na 7.42 kilometers mula sa Manila South Road Daang Maharlika hanggang sa Quezon Eco-Tourism Road.
Inaasahang maseserbisyuhan nito ang mahigit 15,000 motorista at commuter kada araw mula sa iba’t ibang probinsya sa Southern Tagalog.
Simula nang matapos ang naturang proyekto, bumuti ang lagay ng trapiko nang 40 porsyento.
Maliban dito, naging 30 minuto na lang ang oras ng biyahe sa pagitan ng Sariaya at Lucena City.
Inaasahang palalakasin din ng Sariaya Bypass Road ang economic at social development sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng transport efficiency, road safety at pagpapalawak ng business opportunities sa Quezon Province.
