Ipinagbabawal ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City ang pagkakaroon ng babuyan at poultry sa lungsod.
Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, ito ay base sa City Ordinance 2990-2020 na nilagdaan ng konseho.
Tatlo lamang aniya mula sa 17 barangay sa siyudad ang mayroong backyard piggeries at poultry.
Ito ay sa Payatas, Sta Lucia, at Old Balara.
Ayon kay Belmonte, nangako naman ang mga may-ari ng piggery at poultry na isasara ang operasyon sa Nobyembre 2021.
