CHR kinondena ang paghagis ng granada sa bahay ni Rep. Rodriguez sa CDO
Mariing kinondena ng Commission on Human Rights (CHR) ang insidente ng paghagis ng granada ss bahay ni Deputy Speaker Rufus Rodriguez sa Cagayan de Oro.
Nangyari ang naturang insidente, Miyerkules ng umaga (September 29, 2021).
Kahit walang nasugatan, nagparating pa rin ng pagkaalarma ang komisyon sa banta sa kaligtasan ng mambabatas at kaniyang pamilya.
“Apart from endangering the lives of residents, such violent incident desecrates the sense of peace and security that every individual has the right to enjoy within the safety of his/her/their own home,” pahayag ni CHR spokesperson Atty. Jacqueline Ann de Guia.
Suportado naman ng CHR ang apela ng pamilya na makamit ang hustisya at mahuli ang responsable sa insidente.
