Pag-upgrade sa Lanao del Sur Hospital, ipinanukala ni Dipatuan

Isinusulong ni Bangsamoro Transition Authority Member of Parliament and Committee on Health Chairperson, Dr. Safrullah M. Dipatuan ang panukalang pag-upgrade sa Balindong Municipal Hospital sa Lanao del Sur.

Layunin ng Parliament Bill 102 na i-upgrade ang Balindong Municipal Hospital sa Bindayan, Lanao del Sur mula sa kasalukuyang 10-bed capacity patungong 50-bed capacity hospital dahil karamihan sa mga ospital sa BARMM ay umabot na sa kanilang capacity limit bunsod ng patuloy na pagtaas ng mga kaso ng COVID-19.

Sa kasalukuyan, mahigit 40 bills na ang inakda at ipinanukala ni Dipatuan na naglalayong palakasin ang health system capacity, infrastructures at mga polisiya sa BARMM.

Sinabi ni Dipatuan na bukod sa pangangasiwa sa umiiral na healthcare system upang malabanan ang COVID-19, nais nila ng long-term improvements na magbibigay sa Bangsamoro people at sa kanilang frontliners ng mas maayos na healthcare system na handang humarap sa emerging infectious diseases at future pandemics.

Nito lamang Mayo taong 2021, pinangunahan ni Dipatuan ang pag-turnover ng P24-million funding mula sa Office of the Chief Minister’s Transition Development Impact Fund sa mga ospital sa Lanao del Sur, kabilang ang Amai Pak Pak Medical Center, para sa financial assistance ng mahihirap na pasyente.
