Trespassing na ‘mystery jet fighter’ naitaboy ng 2 PAF FA-50 aircrafts
Mistulang eksena sa pelikula ang ginawang pagtaboy ng dalawang FA-50 aircrafts ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) sa isang foreign aircraft na pumasok sa Philippine Air Defense Identification Zone (PADIZ) noong nakaraang Huwebes ng umaga.
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng PAF, namataan ang banyagang sasakyang-panghimpapawid may 120 nautical miles ang layo sa Bolinao, Pangasinan at ayon sa Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) ito ay tinatawag na ‘unknown track of interest.’
Pinalipad agad ng PAF ang dalawang FA-50 aircrafts mula sa Air Defense Alert Center para sa ‘interception’ ng ‘mystery aircraft,’ na lumilipad sa taas na 21,000 feet sa bilis na 265 knots.
Apat na minuto bago ang ‘interception’ biglang lumihis ng direksyon ang ‘foreign aircraft’ palayo ng Philippine airspace sa bilis na 400 knots.
Hindi na ito hinabol pa ng dalawang FA-50 ng PAF.
