Health workers ng Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, nagsagawa ng noise barrage

Nagsagawa ng noise barrage ang health workers ng Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center sa Maynila.

Ito ay para kalampagin ang Department of Health (DOH) na ibigay na ang kanilang special risk allowance, meal allowance at COVID-19 benefits.

Ayon kay Cristy Donguines, Presidente ng Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center Employees Union, nakalulungkot na hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa na ibibigay sa kanila ang mga benepisyo.

Lalo aniyang na demoralisa ang health workers nang punahin ng Commission on Audit (COA) ang P67 bilyong COVID fund ng DOH.

Kasama sa pinuna ng COA ang hindi nagagamit na P11. 9 bilyong pondo para sa special risk allowance at hazard pay.

Ayon kay Donguines, hindi rin makatarungan na bigyan sila ng deadline ng DOH na magsumite ng listahan ng health workers na hindi pa nakatatanggap ng benepisyo.

Giit ni Donguines, tungkulin na ng DOH na alamin ang bagay na ito lalo’t abala ang health workers sa pagtugon sa pandemya sa COVID-19.
