AFP chief Faustino, positibo sa COVID-19 matapos sumailalim sa RT-PCR test

Sa kabila ng pagiging fully vaccinated, tinamaan ng COVID-19 si Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief Lieutenant General Jose Faustino Jr. matapos sumailalim sa RT-PCR test, araw ng Lunes (August 23).

Base sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni Faustino na natanggap niya ang kumpirmasyon na positibo siya sa nakakahawang sakit, Lunes ng hapon.

Ipagpapatuloy pa rin aniya niya ang kaniyang tungkulin bilang pinuno ng AFP habang tumatalima sa isolation protocol para sa kaligtasan ng kaniyang pamilya at mga katrabaho.

Hinikayat nito ang publiko na suportahan ang vaccination program ng gobyerno.

Matatandaang sa press conference, Lunes ng umaga, inanunsiyo ni AFP spokesperson Colonel Ramon Zagala na nagpositibo ang AFP chief sa antigen test.
