Dumating na sa bansa ang mahigit 500,000 doses ng AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines.
Ito ay binili ng pribadong sektor sa pamamagitan ng tripartite agreement kasama ang pamahalaan.
Dumating sa bansa ang mga bakuna kaninang 9:20 ng umaga sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) sa Pasay City.
Mismong sina vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. at Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion ang sumalubong sa mga bakuna.
Sa pinakahuling talaan, nasa 42 milyong doses na ng bakuna ang nasa Pilipinas.
