2022 national budget, isusumite sa Kongreso sa August 23
Target ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) na maisumite sa Kongreso ang 2022 pambansang budget sa Agosto 23 sa taong 2021.
Ayon kay DBM Assistant Secretary Rolando Toledo, isinasapinal na nila ang fiscal year 2022 national expenditure program.
Ayon kay Toledo, nakapaloob sa pambansang budget para sa susunod na taon ang paglalaan ng pondo para sa social protection program ng gobyerno.
Ito ay bilang paghahanda na rin sa posibleng tulong pinansyal na maibibigay sa mga pinakamahihirap na Pilipino sakaling magpatuloy ang banta ng COVID-19 sa susunod na taon at kailanganin na namang maghigpit ng community quarantine.
Ayon kay Toledo, kabilang sa mga social protection program na ito ay ang Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, sustainable livelihood program at iba pang social services program ng DSWD.
