Flood control structure at access road sa Ilocos Norte, natapos na ng DPWH

Nakumpleto na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang bagong flood control structure sa Badoc at access road sa Pasuquin sa Ilocos Norte.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, mapoprotektahan ng flood control structure sa Badoc River ang mga residente sa Barangay Bangbanga, Pagsanjan, La Virge, at Alogoong.

Isinagawa ng DPWH Ilocos Norte Second District Engineering Office ang 251-meter river wall na may kontratang nagkakahalaga ng P19.6 milyon sa ilalim ng 2020 General Appropriations Act (GAA).

Maliban dito, natapos na rin ng DPWH Ilocos Norte First District Engineering Office ang access road project na nagkokonekta sa Barangay San Juan at Barangay Surong sa Pasuquin.

Umabot sa P7.97 milyon ang inilaang pondo sa 744 metrong kalsada sa ilalim ng 2021 General Appropriations Act (GAA).

“With the completion of more infrastructure projects in Ilocos Norte, we are hoping to support agricultural production and help citizens recover during this time of the pandemic,” pahayag ni Villar.
