LOOK: Inspeksyon sa bagong diversion road sa Rosales, Pangasinan
Nalalapit nang mabuksan sa mga motorista ang bagong gawang 5-kilometer diversion road na madaraanan sa Rosales, Pangasinan patungo sa iba pang parte ng eastern Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, at Nueva Viscaya.
Pinangunahan ni Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar ang inspeksyon sa Carmen East-West Diversion Road, kabilang ang overpass sa Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), araw ng Biyernes (July 30).
Kasama ng kalihim sa project occular inspection sina Senior Undersecretary Rafael Yabut at Assistant Secretary Wilfredo Mallari ng DPWH Luzon Operations, DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel Tan, Pangasinan 6th District Rep. Tyrone Agabas, Party List Rep. Conrado Estrella III, DPWH Pangasinan 3rd District Engineer Tito Jesus Salvador, at Rosales Mayor Susan Casareno.
“I am elated to see that with this newly-completed diversion road, we have drastically-improved the travel time from Rosales and other municipalities such as Balungao, Umingan going to Cuyapo, Guimba, Muñoz, San Jose, and Lupao in Nueva Ecija,” pahayag ni Villar.
Tinatayang aabot sa P519.94 milyon ang inilaan pondo para sa konstruksyon ng naturang proyekto.
Sinabi naman ni DPWH Region 1 Director Tan na layon ng Carmen East-West Diversion Road Project na mabawasan ang pagsisikip ng trapiko sa bayan ng Rosales.
“Carmen East-West Diversion Road which is directly-connected to the TPLEX, is seen encourage more business ventures in the area and bring economic and social benefits to the people of Rosales, and its neighboring towns,” dagdag ni Villar.
