Inisyatibo ng OVP na magkaroon ng komprehensibong plano sa pagtugon sa pandemya, welcome sa Palasyo
Welcome sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang inisyatibo ni Vice President Leni Robredo na magkaroon ng komprehensibong plano para tugunan ang pandemya sa COVID-19.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ikinukunsidera ng Palasyo ang mga suhestiyon nI Robredo.
Hindi aniya binabalewala ng Palasyo ang ginawang pagsisikap ni VP Robredo sa harap ng hamon ng pandemya.
Anuman aniyang kontribusyon kabilang ang policy recommendations mula sa oposisyon para matiyak ang tagumpay laban sa pandemya ay kinikilala at ipinagpapasalamat ng Malakanyang.
“The Palace is one with the Vice President in her Ulat sa Bayan message that in this challenging time of COVID-19, it is the Filipinos who helped and came to the rescue of fellow Filipinos. In fact, in his last State of the Nation Address, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte personally paid tribute to Filipinos who have provided essential health services, have made our food chain supply running, have boosted economic activity, and have ensured peace and order in our communities during this pandemic,” pahayag ni Roque.
Kaya naman iginiit ni Roque na ngayon ang panahon para tumutok sa pagtugon sa mga epektong dala ng COVID-19 at tulungan ang gobyerno para makamit ang population protection.
Kaisa aniya ang Palasyo sa tinuran ng bise presidente sa kaniyang ‘Ulat sa Bayan’ na ang mga Pilipino mismo ang nagtulungan para isalba ang kapwa Pilipino mula sa hamon ng pandemya.
Sa katunayan, mismong si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ay taos pusong pinasalamatan ang mga Pilipino na nagtulungan para maibigay ang essential health services, pagkain at maipagpatuloy ang galaw ng ekonomiya, kasama na rin ang mga taong nasa likod ng pagpanatili ng peace and order sa mga komunidad habang may pandemya.
“We reiterate: Now is the time to focus on COVID-19 and help the national government in achieving population protection; so together, we will recover and have a happy Christmas and a better future for all Filipinos,” pahayag ni Roque.
