LOOK: Mahigpit na pagbabantay sa Taal Lake, tuloy pa rin

Sanib-pwersa ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) District Southern Tagalog, PCG Sub-Station Talisay, at Philippine National Police (PNP) sa patuloy na pagbabantay sa Taal Lake.

Kasunod ito ng napapaulat na aktibidad ng Bulkang Taal.

Sinisiguro ng mga awtoridad ang kaligtasan ng mga residenteng pumapalaot sa kasagsagan ng ‘window hours’ mula 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 2:00 ng hapon.

Ayon sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) – CALABARZON, nasa 5,100 residente ang nangangalaga sa mahigit 6,300 ‘fish cage’ sa Taal Lake para sa produksyon ng mga isda tulad ng bangus at tilapia.

Patuloy din ang pagtulong ng PCG sa pagsasagawa ng transport mission, relief operation, at pagpapanatili ng seguridad at kaayusan sa mga evacuation center.

Sa ngayon, nananatili sa Alert Level 3 ang Bulkang Taal.
