Sinampahan ng reklamong gross neglect of duty at negligence sa Office of the Ombudsman si Games Amusement Board (GAB) chairperson Abraham Mitra.
Ito ay dahil sa hindi pagsunod ni Mitra sa COVID-19 protocols sa Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Base sa reklamo hindi nagsuot ng facemask si Mitra habang bumibisita sa Puerto Princesa.
Nakasaad pa sa reklamo na makikita rin ang paglabag ni Mitra sa health protocols sa kanyang Facebook page na walang suot na face mask.
Si Mitra ang isa sa mga panauhing pandangal sa Balayong Fun Ride at Acacia Tunnel Lighting noong March 6.
Ikinadidismaya ng complainant, nag-positibo si Mitra sa COVID-19 dalawang linggo matapos ang pagbisita sa Puerto Princesa.
Nabatid na isang Authorized Person Outside Residence (APOR) si Mitra pero hindi naman sumusunod sa health protocols lalo’t isa ang Puerto Princesa sa mga lugar na nasa heightened Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine.
Napag-alaman pa na matapos dumalo sa dalawang event, nagtungo pa si Mitra sa iaang wedding ceremony at reception at nakipag-dinner kasama ang iba pang opisyal ng Palawan.
“Aggravating the situation was the subsequent travel and attendance to mass gatherings by Chairman Mitra after having been place to a place evidently prone to Covid-19 exposures, without regard to the possibility of further spreading the virus,” saad ng reklamo laban kay Mitra. Kasama rin sa sinampahan ng kaso si Puerto Princesa Mayor Lucilo Bayron.
