Pagpapalawig ng suspensyon ng VFA termination, welcome sa Amerika
Welcome sa Estados Unidos ang desisyon ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas na palawigin ang suspensyon ng abrogation ng Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA).
Araw ng Lunes, June 14, inanunsiyo ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. na nagdesisyon si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na palawigin ang VFA termination sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Amerika.
Sa kabila nito, sinabi ng U.S. Embassy na patuloy pa rin ang alyansa para sa seguridad ng dalawang bansa.
“Our alliance continues to contribute not only to the security of our two nations, but also strengthens the rules-based order that benefits all nations in the Indo-Pacific,” saad nito.
Epektibo ang suspensyon sa susunod pang anim na buwan.
