Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine, binigyan na ng EUA ng FDA

Binigyan na ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang COVID-19 vaccine na gawa ng Sinopharm ng emergency use authorization (EUA).

Sa pulong kasama si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, Lunes ng gabi (June 7), sinabi ni FDA Director General Eric Domingo na binigyan na ng awtorisasyon ang Department of Health (DOH) na tumanggap ng Sinopharm vaccine.

“So ito po ay tinignan na rin ng ating mga experts at ang ating pong evaluation sa FDA. And today, we already granted an emergency use authorization [EUA] to the DOH to accept the donations of Sinopharm,” Domingo said.

Ang DOH ang nagsumite ng EUA application para sa naturang bakuna.

Matatandaang ang naturang bakuna ang itinurok sa Punong Ehekutibo.

Samantala, sinabi rin ni Domingo na mayroon nang 17 COVID-19 vaccine na aprubadong gamitin sa buong mundo.

Nadagdag dito ang mRNA vaccine na gawa ng Takeda Pharmaceutical Company mula sa Japan.
