14-day quarantine sa incoming travelers pinababawi na ni Sen. Tito Sotto

Hiniling ni Senate President Vicente Sotto III sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) at Department of Health na bawiin na ang mandatory 14-day quarantine period sa mga pumapasok sa Pilipinas na fully vaccinated na.

 

Katuwiran ni Sotto nawawalan lang ng saysay ang pagiging ‘fully vaccinated’ na ng biyahero kung kinakailangan pa rin niyang sumailalim sa quarantine period.

 

“Why do fully vaccinated people have to still do the two-week quarantine when traveling to the Philippines? [I]t doesn’t make sense! Defeats the purpose of vaccinating so we can open the economy,” diin pa ng senador.

 

Dagdag pa niya, hindi pupunta ang mga nagbabalak mamuhunan sa bansa kung kinakailangan pa silang mag-quarantine kahit nakumpleto na nila ang dalawang dose ng COVID 19 vaccines.

 

Una naman ng inihayag ng DOH na wala pang patunay na ang ‘fully vaccinated individual’ ay hindi na tatamaan ng 2019 coronavirus o hindi na siya makakahawa.
