Temporary deployment ban ng OFW sa Saudi Arabia binawi na ng DOLE

Binawi na ng Department of Labor and Employment ang temporary deployment ban ng overseas Filipino workers sa Saudi Arabia.

Ayon kay Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, ito ay dahil sa official communication mula sa gobyerno ng Saudi na sasagutin na ng foreign employers at recruitment agencies ang health at quarantine fees ng mga OFW.

Ayon kay Bello, inatasan na niya ang Philippine Overseas Employment Administration na agad na ipatupad ang lifting ng deployment ban.

Agad ding pinabibigyan ni Bello ng kinakailangan na clearance ang mga paalis na Filipino workers para makabiyahe na.

Matatandaang nagpalabas kahapon, Mayo 27 ng deployment ban ang DOLE dahil sa kawalan ng malinaw na guidelines ang mga employer sa Saudi Arabia.

Humingi naman ng paumanhin si Bello at sinabing kapakanan lamang ng mga OFW ang kanyang isinaalang-alang.
