Sinimplehan na ng National task Force against COVID-19 ang criteria para sa pagbabakuna sa mga essential workers na kasama sa A4 priority group.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, kasama sa A4 ang mga manggagawa na nasa pribadong sektor na kailangang physically present sa kani-kanilang designated workplace outside residence.
Kasama rin sa listahan ang ang mga empleyado ng government agencies at instrumentalities pati na ang mga nasa Government-Owned or -Controlled Corporation (GOCCs) at local government units (LGUs).
Pasok din sa A4 priority list ang mga informal sector workers at self-employed na kinakailangan na magtrabaho sa labas ng bahay at private households
“Also approved is the initial vaccine deployment for Priority Group A4 workers in the National Capital Region, Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Metro Cebu, and Metro Davao,” pahayag ni Roque.
Sa Hunyo inaasahang magsisimula na ang pagbabakuna kontra COVID-19 sa mga nasa A4 priority list.
