Mga barangay sa Maynila, inatasan na alalayan ang mga senior at may comorbidities sa pagpaparehistro para sa COVID-19 vaccine
Inatasan ni Manila Barangay Bureau Director Romeo Bagay ang 896 na barangays sa lungsod na alalayan ang lahat ng senior citizens at persons with comorbidities sa pagpaparehistro para sa COVID-19 vaccine.
Sa memorandum ni Bagay, partikular na pinapatutukan sa mga opisyal ng barangay ang mga senior citizen at PWD na walang sapat na kaalaman sa paggamit ng teknolohiya at mga gadget.
May senior citizens at PWD aniya ang hindi nababakunahan dahil hindi pa nakapagpaparehistro sa vaccination program.
“In view of this, all Punong Barangays are being advised to mobilized their respective Barangay Council and SK Council to facilitate in the registration of our unfortunate constituents who are willing to avail this much needed free COVID-19 vaccine,” pahayag ni Bagay.
Matatandaang nagsasagawa rin ang lungsod ng Maynila ng home service vaccination para sa mga matatanda at mga may kapansanan na hindi na kayang magtungo sa vaccination sites.
