Diver, naglaho habang lumalahok sa training exercise sa Davao del Norte
Nawala ang isang military diver kahapon habang lumalahok sa diving drill sa isla ng Talikud sa Davao del Norte.
Ayon kay Armed Forces Eastern Mindanao Command (Eastmincom) spokesman Major Ezra Balagtey, nawala ang nasabing sundalo na hindi pa inilalabas ang pagkakakilanlan bandang 8:30 ng umaga kahapon.
Ang nasabing sundalo ay kalahok sa joint proficiency diving exercise na inorganisa ng Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao, Eastmincom at Naval Special Operations Unit.
Magkatulong na nagsasagawa ng water search ang mga tauhan ng Coast Guard, Naval Special Operations Unit at Naval Forces.
Inutusan naman ang isang pangkat ng Philippine Air Force Search and Rescue Group na magsagawa ng aerial search sa baybayin ng Talikud at Davao del Sur area.
Ayon pa kay Balagtey, inatasan ang Incident Management Team ng Eastern Mindanao Command na mangasiwa sa search and rescue operations.
