VP Robredo, wala pang napagpaplanuhan para sa 2022 elections – OVP
Nilinaw ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) na wala pang napagpaplanuhan si VP Leni Robredo ukol sa 2022 elections.
Ayon kay Atty. Barry Gutierrez, tagapagsalita ng OVP, walang katotohanan sa naging pahayag na naghahanda na si Robredo para sa pagtakbo bilang gobernador sa Camarines Sur.
Nananatili aniyang nakatutok si Robredo sa pagtulong sa mga mamamayang Filipino sa gitna ng pandemya dulot ng COVID-19.
“As VP Leni has repeatedly stated, her focus remains on helping our fellow Filipinos through the COVID-19, crisis,” ani Gutierrez.
Hindi aniya ito ang tamang panahon para isipin ang pulitika.
Sa halip, sinabi ni Gutierrez na dapat pagtuunan ng pansin ang kapakanan ng publiko.
“She remains open to all options, including a possible candidacy for president, and at the appropriate time, she will personally convey her decision on this matter,” dagdag nito.
Matatandaang inanunsiyo ni dating Senador Antonio Trillanes IV na tatakbo siya sa pagka-pangulo sa 2022 kasunod ng paghahanda umano ni Robredo sa pagtakbo bilang gobernador.
