193,000 doses ng Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinne, dumating na sa Pilipinas

Dumating na sa Pilipinas ang mahigit 193,000 doses ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 na gawa ng Pfizer-BioNtech, Lunes ng gabi.

Dumating ang mga bakuna sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) pasado 9:00 ng gabi.

Ang mga nasabing bakuna ay donasyon ng COVAX facility ng World Health Organization (WHO).

Ito ang unang shipment ng Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine na dumating sa bansa at ika-apat na shipment ng COVID-19 vaccines mula sa COVAX facility.

Ayon sa WHO Philippines, aabot na sa 2.74 milyong doses ng COVID-19 vaccine ang natanggap ng Pilipinas mula sa COVAX.

Sinalubong naman ng ilang opisyal ng gobyerno ang pagdating ng naturang bakuna.
