Nationwide lockdown, idineklara sa Malaysia dahil sa pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19

Nagdeklara ng nationwide lockdown sa Malaysia dahil sa pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19.

Ayon kay Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, nahaharap ang bansa sa ikatlong wave ng nakakahawang sakit na maaaring magdulot ng national crisis.

Sa kasagsagan ng lockdown, ipagbabawal ang lahat ng inter-state at inter-district travel, kasama ang social gatherings.

Sa datos ng health ministry ng Malaysia, nasa 3,807 ang bagong naitalang kaso ng COVID-19 sa araw ng Lunes, May 10.

Dahil dito, umabot na sa 444,484 ang kabuuang bilang ng confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Nasa 1,700 naman ang COVID-19 deaths habang 405,388 ang COVID-19 recoveries.
