‘Heat stroke break’ ibabalik ng MMDA sa traffic enforcers, street sweepers

Para maiwasan na ma-heat stroke ang kanilang mga traffic enforcers at street sweepers sa tindi ng init ng panahon, inanunsiyo ni MMDA Chairman ang pagbabalik ng 30-minute ‘heat stroke break’ policy.

“Our personnel’s safety is our paramount concern. This special heat stroke break is available for traffic enforcers and street sweepers who work under the dry season’s searing heat and protect them from heat exhaustion, heat stroke and heat cramps,” sabi ni Abalos.

Depende sa oras ng duty ang ‘heat stroke break,’ ayon pa kay Abalos.

Sinabi ng opisyal kinakailangan lang walang mawawalang naka-duty na mag-aayos ng daloy ng mga sasakyan at magpapatupad ng mga batas-trapiko, gayundin ang magpapanatili ng kalinisan sa mga kalsada.

Dagdag pa ni Abalos sakaling umabot sa 40 degrees Celsius pataas ang temperatura sa Maynila, karagdagang 15-minute heat stroke break ang ibibigay sa traffic enforcers at street sweepers.

Ang pagbibigay ng heat stroke break ay magsisimula sa darating na Mayo 31.
