Pinasinayaan ng ilang matataas na opisyal ng pamahalaan ang bagong hemodialysis facility para sa mga pasyente ng COVID-19 sa National Kidney Transplant Institute sa Quezon City.
Ayon kay NKTI Executive Director Doctor Rose Marie Rosete-Liquite, mayroong 20 dialysis station ang bagong facility at kayang mag-operate ng tatlong sesyon kada araw.
Bukod sa hemodialysis facility, mayroon ding 16 rooms na off-site modular dormitory na maaring matirhan ng mga health workers.
Sinabi ni Rosete-Liquite, dati-rati, sa mga tent lamang nagda-dialysis ang mga pasyente.
Kabilang sa mga dumalo sa inagurasyon ng bagong pasilidad sina Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, testing czar Vince Dizon at vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr.
