Target ng pamahalaan na magkaroon ng mental care at social healing program para sa mga nakaligtas sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., marami kasi ang tumatawag na nagpapakamatay ang ilan dahil sa stigma at nagkakaroon ng breakdown.

“Sa isang plano po namin sa National Action Plan, iyong aftercare po ng COVID-19 kasi nakita po natin talaga iyong stigma, nakita natin sa COVID-19 napakataas. Maraming tumatawag po sa atin, pami-pamilya nagbi-breakdown and also there are many cases also na may mga suicide cases and with this—this is a very serious problem after that we have undertaken or eliminated the disease,” pahayag ni Galvez.

Marami kasi aniya ang nakaligtas sa COVID-19 pero hindi alam kung paano makabalik sa normal na pamumuhay.

“Ang nakita namin talaga sa National Action Plan, we will have an elaborate ano po, sa social healing at saka iyong tinatawag nating mental care para magkaroon po ng tinatawag nating reconstruction at saka reconstitution ng ating mental care in terms doon sa stigma na iyong binitawan po ng COVID-19. Nakita po namin talaga po, talagang maraming mga pamilya ang nagbi-breakdown dahil kasi nakikita natin hindi nila alam ang gagawin. And with that we have talked to the experts so that we can explore iyong tinatawag nating further mental care and social healing after this pandemic,” pahayag ni Galvez.
