Defense, AFP hindi nakikinig na alisin si Gen. Parlade sa NTF – ELCAC – Sen. Lacson
Iginiit ni Senator Panfilo Lacson na dapat ay tanggalin na si Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr., sa National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC).
Ayon kay Lacson ito ang ibinilin na nilang mga senador sa Department of National Defense at AFP sa katuwiran na ang panunungkulan ni Parlade sa NTF-ELCAC ay paglabag sa Saligang Batas.
Diin nito, hindi rin sapat ang ‘gag order’ kay Parlade matapos nitong insultuhin ang ilang senador at ang mga nag-organisa ng community pantries.
“He should be censured for dabbling in politics instead of just focusing on his inherent mission as commanding general of the Southern Luzon Command – that is, to fight threats such as terrorism and insurgency,” sabi ng senador.
Samantala, sa kaso naman ni Communications Usec. Lorraine Badoy, sinabi ni Lacson na ang anumang naging pahayag ng una ukol sa community pantries ay sa kanya lang.
