Ayon sa Pagasa, nakataas ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 1 sa:
- Luzon
o Central at eastern portions ng Sorsogon (Castilla, Magallanes, Matnog, Juban, Irosin, Bulan, Santa Magdalena, Bulusan, Barcelona, Casiguran, Gubat, Prieto Diaz, Sorsogon City), eastern portion ng Albay (Manito, Legazpi City, Santo Domingo, Malilipot, Bacacay, Tabaco City, Rapu-Rapu, Malinaw, Tiwi), eastern portion ng Camarines Sur (Presentacion, Caramoan, Garchitorena), at Catanduanes
- Visayas
o Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte, at Camotes Islands
- Mindanao
o Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte (including Siargao and Bucas Grande Islands), at Surigao del Sur
Taglay ng bagyo ang hangin na 175 kilometers per hour at pagbugso na 215 kilometers per hour.
Kumikilos ang bagyo sa west northwest direction sa bilis na 20 kilometers per hour.
Namataan ang bagyo sa 705 kilomters east ng Surigao City, Surigao del Norte o 755 kilometers east ng Maasin City, Southern Leyte.
Inaasahang makararanas ng moderate, heavy at intense na ulan bukas, Abril 18 ang Eastern Visayas, Sorsogon, Masbate, Albay, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, at Camotes Islands.
Pinapayuhan ang mga residente na mag-ingat sa baha at flashfloods.
