By Jan Escosio April 07, 2021 - 06:46 PM

“The price cap ends tomorrow, April 8, and there will be no extension but we have decided based on various consultations with stakeholders, and DTI and others, that we will impose a suggested retail price for imported pork,” ang anunsiyo ng kalihim.

So, if the problem is supply, we have measures that are being proposed. The mobilization of hogs from provinces, that’s just one of them, the increase of minimum access volume is another, lowering of tariff is another. So it is a holistic set of measures that can really bring down the prices and tame inflation,” paliwanag pa nito.
