Sen. Bato dela Rosa hinamon ang CHR na kasuhan ang mga pulis sa ‘illegal Tokhang’

Kung may sapat na ebidensiya, hinihikayat pa ni Senator Ronald dela Rosa ang Commission on Human Rights (CHR) na sampahan ng mga kaso ang mga pulis na isinasangkot sa illegal drug war.

Diin ng senador ilang taon nang inaanunsiyo ng CHR ang mga alegasyon ngunit hindi naman pinaaabot sa korte.

“They have been saying the same thing since 2016. It is now 2021. If they have the evidence then they should file appropriate charges in court otherwise their claims can be construed as black propaganda,” sabi ni dela Rosa.

Ang senador ang hepe ng pambansang pulisya nang ikasa ang ‘Oplan Tokhang.’

Inanunsiyo ni CHR Commissioner Gwendolyn Pimentel-Gana na ilalabas nila ang isang independent report ukol sa ‘extra judicial killings sa bansa na umaabot sa halos 3,300 mula 2016 hanggang ngayon taon.

Sa nabanggit na bilang, 1,912 ang namatay sa police operations, samantalang 1,382 naman sa pagpatay ng hindi pa nakikilalang suspects.
