Pagtuturok ng AstraZeneca vaccines itinigil sa Netherlands dahil sa ‘side effects’ reports
Inanunsiyo ng Dutch health officials ang pagsuspindi nila sa pagtuturok ng AstraZeneca vaccine dahil sa mga posibleng side-effects na napaulat sa Denmark at Norway.
Ang suspensyon ay tatagal ng dalawang linggo.
“Based on new information, the Dutch Medicines Authority has advised, as a precautionary measure and pending further investigation, to suspend the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine,” ayon sa inilabas na pahayag ng Health Ministry.
Sinabi pa ni Health Minister Hugo de Jonge mahalaga na mabigyan kasagutan at malinaw kung ang sinasabing side effects ay bunga ng pagtuturok ng bakuna kontra coronavirus.
Bunga nito, maaantala ang vaccine rollout sa bansa, na nauna nang bumili ng 12 million doses ng AstraZeneca kasabay ng planong pagpapabakuna ng 290,000.
Una nang gumawa ng naturang hakbang ang gobyerno ng Ireland base rin sa mga ulat ng side effects sa Norway at Denmark.
