‘Sagot for sale’ scheme pinaiimbestigahan ni Senador Gatchalian sa DepEd

Nanawagan si Senator Sherwin Gatchalian sa Department of Education na agad imbestigahan ang mga ulat ukol sa ‘sagot for sale’ scheme.

Paliwanag niya sa naturang modus, pinasasagutan ng mga magulang sa iba ang self-learning modules ng kanilang anak kapalit ng bayad.

Babala nito sa mga magulang na gumagawa ng modus, ang karunungan ng kanilang anak ang lubos na maapektuhan kung iba ang gumagawa ng kanilang modules.

Ang ‘sagot for sale’ scheme ay ibinunyag ng Teachers’ Dignity Coalition sa pagdinig ng Basic Education Committee na pinamuunuan ni Gatchalian.

“Huwag naman sanang gawin ng mga magulang iyon dahil kawawa ang mga bata. Hindi natin sila natutulungang matuto sa ganyang mga paraan,” sabi ng senador.

Una nang iniulat ng DepEd na halos 100 porsiyento ng 14 milyong public school students ang pumasa sa 1st quarter ng School Year 2020 – 2021.

Hindi kasama sa datos ang mula sa Metro Manila, Central Visayas at BARMM.
