Higit 800 PCG trainee, nagtapos ng pagsasanay sa Negros Occidental
Nagtapos na ang 839 Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) trainee sa mahigit isang taong pagsasanay sa PCG Regional Training Center sa Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental noong February 1, 2021.
Ang mga trainee ay nasa ilalim ng Coast Guardsman’s Course (CGMC) Class 76 – 2019
Bahagi ng kurso ang paghahanda sa isip at pangangatawan ng mga trainee sa pamamagitan ng military exercise at drill.
Maliban dito, sumailalim din ang mga trainee sa mga diskusyon tungkol sa basic soldiery, customs, at tradisyon ng ahensya.
Para sa kalahating taon ng pagsasanay, itinuro ang pagpapapatupad ng mandato ng serbisyo, partikular ang maritime law enforcement, maritime security, maritime safety, maritime search and rescue, at marine environmental protection.
Ayon sa PCG, agad ide-deploy ang mga miyembro ng CGMC Class 76 – 2019 upang makatulong sa COVID-19 response at iba pang inisiyatibo ng ahensya.
