Kontrobersyal na child car seat law, sisilipin ng Kamara

Magsasagawa ng imbestigasyon ang House Committee on Transportation kaugnay sa kontrobersyal na Child Safety in Motor Vehicles Act o ang Child Car Seat Law.

Ayon kay Transportation Committee Chairman Edgar Mary Sarmiento, isasagawa ang pagdinig sa araw ng Miyerkules.

Sinabi ni Sarmiento na nakausap niya si Speaker Lord Allan Velasco at ipinag-utos ang agarang imbestigasyon ukol dito.

Kabilang sa sisilipin ng Kamara ang implementing rules and regulations o IRR ng Republic Act 11229 o Child Safety in Motor Vehicles Act, kung saan nakasaad ang paggamit ng child car seats.

Naging epektibo ang batas noong February 2 pero hindi muna nagsasagawa ng panghuhuli ang Department of Transportation at ang ginagawa nila ay pagbibigay muna ng impormasyon sa mga tao.
