Pasado na sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ng Kamara ang panukala para ibaba ang minimum height requirement ng mga nais maging miyembro ng Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), at Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).

Sa botong 203 na YES, 0 na NO at 6 na ABSTAIN, lumusot ang House Bill 8261 o ‘PNP, BFP, BJMP and BuCor Height Equality Act.

Aamyendahan ng panukala ang RA 6975 o ang “Department of the Interior and Local Government Act of 1990”, ang RA 9263 o ang “Bureau of Fire Protection and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Professionalization Act of 2004 at ang RA 10575 o “Bureau of Corrections Act of 2013”.
