Safety precautions, pinatitiyak sa mga paaralang magsasagawa ng limitadong ‘face-to-face classes’

Pinatitiyak sa Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ng isang grupo ng mga estudyante na may mga hakbangin para matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga estudyante na mapapabilang sa limitadong ‘face-to-face classes.’

Nababahala ang National Union of Students of the Philippines kaugnay sa magiging kaligtasan ng mga estudyante sa rekomendasyon ng CHED.

“We have been clamoring for the safe resumption of classes, this is only feasible if the government presents a comprehensive medical solution to flatten the curve and to reduce the viral transmission,” sabi ni NUSP National President Jandeil Roperos.

Una nang pumayag si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa rekomendasyon ni CHED Chairman Prospero de Vera ng pagsasagawa ng dry-run ng limited physical classes sa medical schools, University of the Philippines-Manila, Ateneo De Manila University, at Our Lady of Fatima University.

Ngunit, dagdag ni Roperos, dapat ay matiyak na masusunod ang minimum health standards sa mga paaralan at dapat din aniyang dagdagan ang pondo para makapagpatayo ng mga bagong paaaralan, gayundin kumuha ng mga karagdagang guro para mabawasan ang teacher – student ratio.
