Diplomatic protest ng Pilipinas sa China, walang epekto sa pagbili ng Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine – Palasyo

Tiniyak ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na walang epekto sa pagbili ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 ang inihaing diplomatic protest ng Pilipinas sa China.

Nagprotesta ang Pilipinas dahil sa bagong batas ng China na pinapayagan ang kanilang coast guard na paputukan ang mga foreign vessel na nasa Chinese-claimed reefs.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ibang usapin ang bakuna.

“Wala pong epekto iyan dahil ibang usapin naman ang bakuna. Ang bakuna po is actually a humanitarian act of the entire planet Earth in response to a humanitarian disaster,”pahayag ni Roque.

Ayon kay Roque, welcome sa Palasyo ang paghahain ng protesta ni Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr.

Patunay aniya ito na pursigido si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na isulong ang independent foreign policy ng bansa.

Matatandaang bibili ang Pilipinas ng 25 million doses ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 sa Sinovac na isang kompanya sa China.
