Valentine’s Day hindi magiging ‘super spreader’ ng COVID 19 – MMDA

Hindi ikinukunsidera ng MMDA na magiging malaking banta ng pagkakahawa-hawa ng COVID 19  ang selebrasyon ng Valentine’s Day ngayon taon.

Giit ni MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia, mga mag-partner lang naman ang kadalasan na nagdiriwang ng Araw ng mga Puso at hindi malalaking grupo ng magkakaibigan o pamilya.

“Majority naman ng nagse-celebrate ng Valentine’s Day, couple yan. Magdi-dinner yan…hindi ganun kadami ang mass gathering, yung barkada magsasama-sama kayo, yung mag-anak magsasama-sama kayo, unlike Christmas,” sabi pa ng opisyal.

Dagdag katwiran pa ni Garcia, “yung Valentine’s mas more yan sa mga couples, intimate moments nila. Magde-date yan. So I think mas kaya kontrolin kasi mas kokonti ang lalabas.”

Noong nakalipas na buwan, nangamba ang health experts sa bansa na magiging ‘super spreader’ ng nakakamatay na sakit ang pagdiriwang sa bansa ng Kapaskuhan dahil sa nakasanayang parties at reunions.
