Tuloy pa rin ang 24/7 work construction schedule sa PNR Clark Phase 1(Malolos to Tutuban) segment ng North South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project.
Ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr), nasa 42.66 porsyento na ang overall progress rate ng proyekto hanggang December 31, 2020.
Sinabi ng kagawaran na mabilis pa rin ang konstruksyon sa kabila ng nararanasang pandemya.
Ang 38-kilometer PNR Clark Phase 1 ay isa sa tatlong segment ng NSCR Project.
Makatutulong ang proyekto para mapagdugtong ang Central Luzon, Metro Manila, at CALABARZON sa isang railway network.
Oras na makumpleto ang PNR Clark Phase 1, ang travel time na 1 oras at 30 minuto mula Tutuban, Manila hanggang Malolos, Bulacan ay inaasahang bababa sa 35 minuto na lang.
Nakatakda ang scheduled partial operability sa pagtapos ng 2021.
