AFP nag-sorry sa ‘red tagging’ ng ilang UP alumni

Humingi ng paumanhin ang AFP Information Exchange sa lahat ng mga nakasama sa listahan ng mga sinasabing nagtapos sa UP na nahuli o napatay dahil sa pagsanib sa NPA, na nai-post sa kanilang social media account.

“We sincerely apologize for those who were inadvertently affected by inconsistencies regarding the List of Students who joined the NPA (Died or Captured) that was posted in the AFP Information Exchange Facebook account. That article has since been immediately taken down or deleted from our social media accounts,” ayon sa Facebook post ng AFP Information Exchange.

Kamakailan, humarap sa mga mamamahayag ang ilan sa mga nakasama sa isinapublikong listahan, ilan sa kanila ay mga abogado, at kinondena ang pangyayari kasabay nang pagtanggi na sila ay naaresto, lalo na napatay, dahil sa pagsanib sa NPA.

“The Office of the J7, AFP is already conducting an internal investigation as to how the list got published. Personnel who are responsible will be held to account,” ayon pa social media post ng AFP Information Exchange.

Pagtitiyak din na dahil sa insidente, pinag-aaralan na nila ang mga ginagawa nilang hakbang para hindi na maulit ang pangyayari.
