Mga pasahero na darating sa bansa, dalawang beses nang isasalang sa Covid 19 swab test
Dalawang beses nang sasalang sa RT-PCR o swab test ang mga pasahero na manggaling sa mga bansang may travel restrictions dahil sa bagong variant ng Covid 19.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ito ay base sa desisyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force.
Unang sasalang sa swab test ang mga pasahero sa oras ng pagdating sa bansa at gagawin naman ang ikalawang swab test sa ika-limang araw ng quarantine period.
“On testing and quarantine protocols for passengers coming from, or transiting through, countries where travel restrictions are in place due to new Covid 19 variants, these incoming passengers shall be tested upon arrival and shall be quarantined until the result of the subsequent test administered on the fifth day is released,” pahayag ni Roque.
Sasailalim na rin ngayon quarantine protocols ang mga Filipino citizen na dumating sa bansa dahil sa highly exceptional o medical reasons at mga local diplomats.
Nagpatupad ang Pilipinas ng travel restrictions sa 20 bansa dahil sa bagong variant ng Covid 19.
