Reklamong ‘quarantine violations’ vs Sen. Koko Pimentel ibinasura ng DOJ
Inanunsiyo ng Office of the Prosecutor General ng DOJ na walang nilabag na quarantine rules si Senator Koko Pimentel III nang magtungo ito sa Makati Medical Center para samahan ang noon ay buntis na asawang si Kathryna Yu – Pimentel, Marso ng nakaraang taon.
“The Office of the Prosecutor General, DOJ, resolved to dismiss the complaint against Senator Koko Pimentel for violation of Section 9(e) of R.A. No. 11332 or the ‘Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of the Public Health Concern’ for lack of probable cause,” sabi ni OPG spokesperson Prosecution Atty. Honey Delgado sa binasang pahayag na inilabas ngayon araw.
Ang reklamo kay Pimentel ay inihain sa DoJ ni dating University of Makati College of Law Dean Rico Quicho noong Abril 6.
Magugunita na umani ng batikos si Pimentel nang magtungo ito sa MMC noong Marso 24, 2020 para samahan ang buntis na misis.
Dapat ay naka-quarantine ang senador dahil ikinukunsidera siyang suspected COVID 19 case.
Nadiskubre na isang linggo bago pa ang pagpunta niya sa MMC ay nagpunta din ito sa isang kilalang membership supermarket sa Bonifacio Global City sa Taguig City.
Labis naman ikinadismaya ni Quicho ang desisyon ng DOJ at ang kanyang social media post; “Got the news that DOJ let Sen Koko scot-free. Bulag, pipi at bingi ang DOJ. Taumbayan na ang huhusga.”
