BOC, winasak ang makina ng paggawa ng sigarilyo
Sinira ng Bureau of Custome – Port of Manila ang mga nakumpiskang sigarilyo, cigarette label making machines at iba pang materyales sa paggawa ng pekeng seal at label noong January 14.
Bahagi ito ng kampanya ng ahensya upang malabanan ang smuggling at pagkalat ng mga ilegal na sigarilyo.
Isinagawa ang aktibidad sa condemnation facility sa Carmona, Cavite na nasaksihan ng ilang tauhan ng Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS), Enforcement and Security Service (ESS), Auction and Cargo Disposal Division (ACDD) at representante sa ilang port offices.
Ang mga winasak na produkto ay nagkakahalaga ng P32 milyon.
Nakumpleto ito sa pamamagitan ng physical destruction.
Siniguro ng Port of Manila na suportado nila ang anti-smuggling campaign ng ahensya sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero.
