China at apat pang bansa, kabilang na sa travel restriction sa Pilipinas dahil sa bagong COVID-19 variant

Nasa lima pang bansa ang napabilang sa ipinatutupad na travel restriction sa Pilipinas dahil sa bagong COVID-19 variant.

Sa press briefing, sinabi ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque na kasama na sa travel restriction ang China, Pakistan, Jamaica, Luxembourg at Oman.

“Ipinagbabawal po ang pagpasok ng mga dayuhan galing sa mga bansang ito, galing po doon sa mga lugar iyon effective January 13, 2021 at noon (12:01PM) until January 15, 2021 subject po to the recommendation of the IATF,” pahayag ni Roque.

Papayagan namang makapasok ng Pilipinas ang mga Filipino mula sa mga naturang bansa kung kailangang sumailalim sa 14-day quarantine kahit lumabas na negatibo sa RT-PCR test.

Nauna nang ipinatupad ang travel restriction sa mga sumusunod na bansa:

– Denmark
– Ireland
– Japan
– Australia
– Israel
– The Netherlands
– Hong Kong, SAR
– Switzerland
– France
– Germany
– Iceland
– Italy
– Lebanon
– Singapore
– Sweden
– South Korea
– South Africa
– Canada
– Spain
– Portugal
– Finland
– Norway
– Jordan
– Brazil
