Sen. Kiko Pangilinan umaasa na walang ‘kickvacc’ sa naunsyaming Pfizer vaccine deal

Umaasa na lang si Senator Francis Pangilinan na walang isyu ng kickback sa kabiguan ng gobyerno na masiguro ang delivery ng 10 million doses ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 ng Pfizer.

“Huwag naman sana na may issue ng ‘kickvacc’ sa dropping of the ball ng Pfizer vaccine procurement,”sabi nito.

Ayon kay Pangilinan sakaling lumabas na nadehado ang gobyerno sa naunsyaming negosasyon, ang mga sangkot ay maaring ipagharao ng paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.

Kamakailan lang, inihain ni Pangilinan ang Senate Resolution No. 594 para hilingin na mabuo ang Senado bilang Committee of the Whole para mahimay ang national vaccination plan.

Pinaboran ng mga senador ang hirit at maaring makapagsagawa na ng pagdinig sa pagpasok ng bagong taon.
