Senator Tito Sotto binatikos na rin ang cashless toll payment sa expressways
Sumama na si Senate President Vicente Sotto III sa mga boses na tumututol sa ipinatutupad na cashless payment sa toll sa expressways.
“RFID to all is really a bad idea! Silly, to say the least!” ang tweet ni Sotto.
Aniya naiintindihan niya ang kalbaryong pinagdadaanan ng mga motorista dahil sa mabagal na usad ng mga sasakyan sa paggamit ng RFID technology.
“I drive my car daily. I know the experiences encountered daily. I do not use bodyguards, escorts or driver. I know what the public is suffering from. I’m only escorted when I go to Malacañang. Now, all toll gates are cramped,” sabi pa nito.
Aniya dapat ay pinaghandaan ng husto muna ang sistema bago ito ipinatupad.
Ipapatawag na ng Senate Committee on Public Services ni Sen. Grace Poe ang mga opisyal ng DOTr sa pamumuno ni Sec. Arthur Tugade para sa isang pagdinig ukol sa mga reklamo at sinasabing kapalpakan sa paggamit ng RFID sa expressways.
