Abu Sayyaf member na dumukot kay Fr. Giancarlo Bossi nasawi sa engkwentro sa mga otoridad

Patay ang isang miyembro ng Abu Sayyaf sa engkwentro sa mga otoridad sa Zamboanga City.

Kinilala ang nasawi na si Samad Awang, alyas Ahmad Jamay na kabilang sa mga dumukot sa Italian missionary na si Fr. Giancarlo Bossi noong 2007.

Nasawi si Awang matapos magtamo ng mga tama ng bala sa katawan nang maka-engkwentro ang mga puis sa Sitio Sohaya, Brgy. Mampang.

Sa report ni Police Brig. Gen. Jonel Estomo, Director ng PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) isinilbi nila ang Warrant of Arrest laban kay Awang para sa kasong Kidnapping at serious Illegal Detention.

Pero armado si Awang ng kalibre 45 na baril at pinaputukan ang mga otoridad.

Si Awang ay number 25 Most Wanted Kidnapping for Ransom suspect sa Western Mindanao.
